We encourage research librarians to list this journal among their library's holdings. This journal's publishing system is suitable for libraries to host for their faculty members to use with journals they are involved in editing. We utilize the LOCKSS system and permit libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration, provided that the libraries abide by the journal's policies and standards.
This journal uses ARK Public Identifier (a tenable successor to DOI) developed by the University of California, with over 100 million installations. As with the DOI, the ARK identifier too is fully integrable with most of the academic profiling systems, including ORCID.
All three previous editions of Journal of Geophysics are in the public domain thanks to the efforts of the University of Göttingen Library. You can freely access and download all of the English-language articles since 1924 in PDF format from our Archive (no login necessary).
