This year has been one great year. A group of enthusiasts succeeded in a massive endeavor: rebooted the world's oldest geophysical journal, and presented it in its glorious  fourth edition - all in record-breaking time and without bottomless-pit funding available to "academic" (corporate) publishers.

On top of all, the 4th edition has already published the most important scientific discovery of 2019! It can hardly get any better than that for a scholarly journal.

At the year's end, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the involved personally, the board members past and present, including advisors, editors, staff, and of course - our partners and readers for patience and understanding.

May the next year be even merrier!
